International Seminar on Emerging Technologies in Automotive Area

Goals and topics
The main goal of this seminar is to provide a forum for engineers and researchers interested in automotive area to meet, exchange research and implementation ideas, and results. It also provides this group of practitioners/researchers an opportunity to present their research papers and experience reports, and to take part in open discussions. Relevant topics include (but are not limited to) theoretical and/or empirical exploration automotive sector, as well as case studies and experience reports related to:
- MES for short series production
- Cloud computing for automation
- Energy and resources efficiency systems planning and engineering
- Artificial Intelligence in automotive
- Modelling of components for digital factory(interfaces descriptions, data exchange)
- New trends in automotive
After the presentations free time is planned for discussions in Bavarian style. General Information
The AutoUniMo consortium (http://autounimo.aei.polsl.pl/) gathers academic and industrial partners for which modern methods used in production systems are the critical path of their activity. The consortium consist of two industrial: Continental & AIUT, and two academic: Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt & Silesian University of Technology affiliates.
International Seminar on Emerging Technologies in Automotive Area (ETAA-2014) scheduled on Dec. 4, 2014 at Ingolstadt (Germany) aims to bring together academic scientists, industry researchers and engineers to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of automotive area, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.
ETAA 2014 is a great opportunity for engineering and computer science companies expand their knowledge on the latest technology trends and technologies in the automotive industry. We would like to cordially invite all willing companies and scientific institutions for lectures at the seminar.
Submission Guidelines & Program Committee
Deadline for submission: 01.11.2014

- an abstract (max. 300 words)
- a short bio including your institutional affiliation and contact details either in MS‐Word format (*.doc or *.docx) or as a pdf
Conference language: English and German. Accepted participants will be notified by the 15 November 2014.
Registration Fees: There is no registration fee, participation in the seminar is free of charge.
